​My name is Hope Richardson. I currently live and work in North Platte, Nebraska, but I was born and raised in Des Moines, Iowa. I also lived in Arizona for over 16 years, before returning to Des Moines in 2008. I have raised three beautiful daughters, and I have seven beautiful grandchildren! I discovered that I had a talent for graphic design about 20 years ago, and realized that I really enjoyed it. So, I decided to pursue my dream!

 

During my time in Arizona, I worked at Coconino Community College (CCC) for over five years, while taking some classes. I had the opportunity to work with the Graphic Design Coordinator while at CCC, and was able to gain a great deal of hands-on experience. Some of the samples you will see in my portfolio are from my time at CCC.

I currently work for a local newspaper in west-central Nebraska as a Digital Support Specialist. In this role, I design and create digital ads for various businesses in the area, I design/build and maintain websites for a few businesses, and I've designed logos for a couple of new area businesses. Additionally, I pull monthly and quarterly analytic reports, add contests and other information to the newspapers website platform, and many other  "duties as assigned".
